How to Easily Download WhatsApp Status Pictures and Videos to your Phone

WhatsApp Status lets users upload photos and videos for their contacts to see, instead of a simple text-based status message. 1. Install any file manager app like Root Explorer (no need root ) from official Google playstore to be safe from virus and malware or use your default file manager app.

2. Open WhatsApp application, Click and view the status video or photo which you want to download manually.

3. Once you are done, open Root Explorer, go to  WhatsApp / Media /.Statuses /

4. All the videos and pictures in the folder '.Statuses', should be copied or moved to the gallery folder  / DCIM / Camera / or / Download / or any other place you want.

If you can't find the '.Statuses' folder, just allow the visibility of hidden files from the file manager menu.
